TGB Coast-to-Coast
Challenge: Day 9, Albuquerque, NM to Holbrook, AZ
|
November 11, 2004 -
We had a great time today. The weather was beautiful and the
roads were great. We started the day by spending some time
checking out the TGB Delivery scooters. We checked the oil,
tires, etc. We are happy to say that we have not had any
mechanical failures on this trip. These scooters are built very
well. Click on the arrows to move the picture gallery from
right to left and click on the small pictures to enlarge them.
Checking out the scooters "Hi baby, I miss you too..." Wide open spaces in new Mexico
We had to adjust the air/fuel mix because the high mountains were robbing some power. Ryan and Mike's TGB Scooters ran much better at 4 turns out, but Rob's was about 5 MPH slower. If we had the time to re-jet the carbs, the scooters would run normal. We also checked the oil, tires, and lights. Rob has a Rio that holds hundreds of songs.
