Challenge: Day 7, Amarillo, TX to Albuquerque, NM

November 10, 2004 -
We had another day of bad wind. The Texas plains and New Mexico
desert was rough riding today. We were interviewed by another
ABC station, Channel 7 in Albuquerque. Tomorrow we are going to
do an oil change and check the plugs and filters. We hope to
make another 250 miles tomorrow. It looks like we will make it
into Los Angeles by Saturday. The guys are ready to be in
California! After 11 states, just 2 states to go! Check back each day for updates and

Channel 7 in Albuquerque, the ABS station Channel 7 filming the scooters Jackie flies in to meet the guys Ryan, what do you want to drink?
Ryan was singing to himself and miss a "real" gas station 5 miles back. So running on fuels, the guys rolled into this place. This place had about 20 bill boards telling us to stop... so we stopped! Cool place. Jackie flew in to ride with the guys for 3 days. This was a great place to eat.
