ADVERTISING & SALES OPPORTUNITIES
1.) At each of the Grand-Am races we have a 10’ x 10’ space in the
pits to display the TGB products. Spectators are allowed in the
pits.
2.) One dealer from each area can use
the space to display TGB products and take orders. The dealer does
not have to pay a fee for this sales opportunity, Cobra is paying
for the space. No selling is allowed at the track, but they can pass
out flyers and take orders for delivery at a later date. Robert
Bates will be in charge of assigning this privilege to the dealers.
If a Sales Rep has a dealer in the area that they would like to
recommend for the job, please contact Rob as soon as possible.
Otherwise, Rob will call the dealers near the track and set
something up. The proper credentials need to be left at the ticket
gate in advance, so Rob needs to know which dealer is going to each
event at least 2-weeks in advance.
3.) At each Grand-Am race and any
Challenge Series race, Cobra Sales Reps can invite dealers to visit
the pits and hang out with Marcus Motorsports. We’ll need advance
notice by the Sales Rep or Dealer so we can have hospitably
amenities set up and have the proper credentials left at the ticket
gates.
4.) All three Grand-Am cars will
carry the TGB logo on the sides of the car.
5.) One of the Porsche’s will carry
the logo on the front and a picture of the new R50X on the hood.
This car will be referred to as the "TGB Porsche".
6.) All of Marcus Motorsports Spec
Racers for the FFR Challenge carry TGB decals on the hood.
7.) We can use the car images for
posters or advertising.
8.) During lunch breaks or practice
sessions we may be able to get dealers a ride in the race car with a
professional driver. This needs to be coordinated with Steve Marcus
in advance. Just call Rob and he’ll try to set it up.
9.) The Marcus Motorsports
transporter will have the TGB logos placed on the sides.
ABOUT GRAND-AM
The Grand American Road Racing Association was established in 1999
to return stability to major league sports car road racing in North
America. As the organization begins its sixth season of competition
in 2005, Grand American is universally regarded as one of the
world’s fastest-growing motorsports organizations.
The Grand Am series can be seen on SPEED TV. The product
placement on the Grand Am TGB Porsche will greatly improve the consumer
visibility of the TGB scooters and ATVs. Grand Am is owned and
operated by the owners of NASCAR.
