COBRA Warranty Policy

COBRA is committed to providing excellent after service through swift warranty processing. Warranty claims can be mailed or faxed to Cobra Scooters LLC and will be processed within 30 days of receipt. A warranty registration card needs to be on file with Cobra Scooters LLC before a warranty claim can be processed unless the claim is due to shipping or crate damage and has not yet been sold. Warranty registration card must be received within 30 days of purchase.

Warranty starts from date of purchase by the consumer for all COBRA products (unless otherwise noted at the time of sale). During the warranty coverage period, we will cover warranted parts only. The dealer is required to get prior approval for any warranty work as well as order parts. After the warranty work has been completed, submit a warranty claim form for full reimbursement. All warranty credits will be issued to the dealer’s parts account. If you have overage on your account, you may request a check after reviewing your monthly statement.

We will not accept warranty claim forms that do not have warranty registration cards on file.

COBRA Scooter Warranty (Parts Only):
The following parts are covered under warranty, along with their warranted period:
Mechanical Parts (Engine, Transmission, Drive Train, Carburetor)       (6) Months
Electrical Components/wiring                                                           (6) Months
Battery (when purchased new with unit)                                            (1) Month

COBRA Off-Road Products Warranty (Parts Only):
The following parts are covered under warranty, along with their warranted period:
Mechanical Parts (Engine, Transmission, Drive Train, Carburetor)       30-Days
Electrical Components/wiring                                                           30-Days
Battery (when purchased new with unit)                                            None

Note: If there is shipping damage to your unit, you must report this to us within 7 days of receipt of the unit in question. Dealer can submit a picture of the damaged parts, return them for replacement, or have the Outside Sales Rep. examine the damaged parts. Then fill out shipping a damage report for processing.

The warranty does not cover consumable and normal wear items such as air filters, brake pads, tires, oil changes, or problems occurring due to lack of scheduled maintenance or consumer abuse. Modifications to this vehicle that are not COBRA or Cobra approved parts will void the warranty. Defective parts are subject to recall by Cobra Scooters LLC upon failure and are required to be held by the dealer for ninety days from the time of the initial repair date.
